1. Complete the procedures below before registration

● Application for Entry Visa

1. Bring your passport, JW202 form and other related documents to the local Visa Application Center to apply for the entry visa.

2. Reserve the flight ticket (Please schedule the air ticket according to the registration time).

● Payment of tuition and insurance

1. Join the university’s Ding Talk group mentioned in the email.

2. Pay the tuition and accommodation fees as required and purchase the insurance for studying in China.

2. Materials required for registration：

4. Four photos (2-inch with a white background)

5. Copy of personal information page and the visa page with the entry stamp on the passport

3. Accommodation

● Confirm your dormitory number and bed at the reception desk of the International Student Dormitory.

● Complete the check-in process for your accommodation.

● Join the dormitory's WeChat group and acquaint yourself with the procedures for how to top up your hot water payment card, and other relevant dormitory affairs.

● Please review the rules and regulations after checking in.

4. Complete the procedures below after registration

● Physical Examination

To apply for a residence permit, it is mandatory to obtain a "Certificate of Verification of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" from the Hangzhou International Travel Healthcare Center (ITHC).

Make an appointment in advance on the WeChat public account of Hangzhou International Travel Healthcare Center【杭州国际旅行卫生保健中心】. Select the "Entry Physical Examination" and add "drug testing" (on-site testing available). Additionally, opt for a "hair check" (due to be valid for 6 months).

Fasting is required on the day of the physical examination, wearing contact lenses and metals is prohibited.

Please bring your identity documents. Payments through Alipay, bank cards and other ways can be accepted.

Reach ITHC [Wen San Road 2] via metro (Metro Line 1 Fengqi Road, to Line 2 Shen Tang Qiao Road, Exit B).

● Application for Residence Permit

Please send personal info page, visa page and entry stamp page on your passport in photos to the in-charge person according to the notice after admission.

Visit the International Student Affairs Office ( 2nd floor of the International Student Dormitory, Building 5) to collect the necessary visa documents prepared by the university. (Please be patient with the collection notice as the preparation of these documents takes time, the documents will be sent to all the students when it is ready.)

Bring and prepare following documents such as Passport, visa application letter, visa revisit form, copy of admission letter, copy of certificate of return-to-school, the original third slip of Visa Application for Study in China (Form JW202), the original and copy of Certificate of Verification of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and relevant materials to the Department of Entry & Exit Administration, Hangzhou Public Security Bureau to apply for the residence permit.（The application for Residence permit should be submitted within 30 days from the date of entry in China, please do not miss the deadline.）

● Application for China SIM card

Bring your passport, admission letter and campus card to the China Mobile service center on campus to apply for a Chinese SIM card.
