2026 Autumn Communication University of Zhejiang Chinese Language Program
Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ) is a prestigious, media-focused institution jointly overseen by the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the National Radio and Television Administration. Established in 1978, CUZ operates two campuses—one in Hangzhou’s Qiantang District and the other in Wuzhen, Tongxiang City—spanning approximately 90 hectares (1,355.14 mu). The university consists of 18 academic schools and teaching units, with an enrollment of over 13,300 undergraduate students, 1,300 graduate students, and 600 international students. CUZ actively fosters global partnerships, maintaining academic and research collaborations with over 150 universities and institutions across more than 40 countries and regions.

| 1)Non-Chinese nationals holding a valid passport of a foreign country and be friendly to China; (Note: Whether an applicant with foreign nationality has the nationality of the People's Republic of China at the same time shall be subject to the conclusion of the nationality determination by the administrative department of the Bureau of Exit & Entry Administration of Public Security P.R.C. If the applicant is found to have Chinese nationality after application, admission and enrollment, his/her eligibility for application, admission, enrollment or registration will be canceled) 2)Aged between 18 and 50; 3)Non-criminal record and no drug use history; 4)Good health and no serious infectious diseases; 5)Total study experience in China must not exceed one year.

Application & Admission
1)Prepare the following documents and send them to this email address: sie-language@cuz.edu.cn
1.*Application form
2.Photos (JPG, resolution of 295×413 or higher, white background and no headwear, and a file size less than 200KB.)
3.Passport homepage (ordinary passport, valid until December 30, 2026)
4.*Physical examination(filled in Chinese or English, and those not in Chinese or English shall be translated and notarized. Forms with incomplete records, without doctor signatures, the hospital stamp or seal on applicants’ photos are invalid. The physical examination report is valid within six months.)
5.Statement of financial support: submit the certificate of deposit sufficient to guarantee the reasonable expenses of study, living and international travel during his study in China (at least the equivalent amount of tuition fee and accommodation fee for one semester); the applicant or his family members may act as a financial sponsor.
6. Non-criminal record (valid for six months).
7. Applicants with study experience in China are also required to submit transcripts, attendance(over 90%)and proof of school performance provided by Chinese institutions.
8. *Minors under the age of 18 must provide Guarantee Letter for Minors containing details of their guardian in China.

2)The university will select the applicants based on the overall consideration of the materials submitted by the applicants. When you receive your pre-admission letter and payment notice, please pay applicationfee,tuition and accommodation fees as required. Upon completing the required tuition and accommodation fee payments, admission letter and Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW202) or Information Form for Foreign Students’ Short-term Visit (DQ) will be sent.

Pre-admission Notification Receipt | Applicants with all the necessary documents will receive a pre-admission letter and payment notice. |
Fee Payment | Settle the application fee, tuition fee, and accommodation fee in accordance with the requirements specified in the notice. |
Formal Admission Document Issuance | After all required fees are confirmed as paid, the university will issue the official admission letter, along with either the Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW202) (for one academic year applicant) or the Information Form for Foreign Students’ Short-term Visit (DQ) (for one-semester applicant). |
