国际中文教育专业硕士学位点是浙江传媒学院首批硕士学位点之一，主体单位和所在单位为国际教育学院。学位点依托国家语言文字规范化示范学校、国家语言文字推广基地、与教育部共建国际人文交流与传媒人才培养基地等建设平台，精准对接国家汉语和中华文化国际传播人才需求，融合“传媒+”特色，培养精通汉语教学、中华文化阐释与传播、跨文化交流，并具备媒介与数智素养，胜任多种教学任务的复合应用型高层次国际化人才。

学位点下设中华文化国际传播和国际汉语教学两个培养方向，2022年面向国内外正式招生。学位点拥有跨学科的师资队伍，导师中有全国优秀教师、省“新世纪151人才工程”入选教授、浙江省“之江青年学者”、孔子学院优秀中方院长等，研究方向涉及二语习得、中外语言文化比较与传播、海外汉学、中国文学与文化海外传播、华文文学与华文教育研究等。学位点注重实践教学，与东华大学、哈兔中文网络学院、泰国暖武里府春芭昙学校等海内外机构合作共建实践基地，为学生提供了多样化的实践平台。

学位点紧扣“传媒特色”和“数智化”前沿，2024年成功举办全国“元宇宙与国际中文教育”学术研讨会暨首届国际中文教育专业研究生论坛、“第一届马来西亚与‘一带一路’建设”国际学术会议等活动。

Introduction to the Master's Degree Program

in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL)

The Master's Degree Program in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) is one of the first master’s degree programs at the Communication University of Zhejiang, with the School of International Education serving as the main and hosting unit. The program is supported by several platforms, including the National Standardization of Language and Writing Demonstration University, the National Base for the Promotion of Language and Writing and the joint base established with the Ministry of Education for international cultural exchange and media talents development.

It is precisely aligned with the national demand for talents in the international promotion of the Chinese language and culture. By integrating the “Media+” characteristics, the program aims to cultivate high-level, versatile, and internationally oriented professionals with media literacy and digital intelligence who are proficient in a wide range of tasks in Chinese language teaching, interpretation and communication of Chinese culture, and cross-cultural communication.

The program offers two specializations: International Communication of Chinese Culture and International Chinese Language Teaching, and officially began recruiting domestic and international students in 2022. The program boasts an interdisciplinary faculty team, including national outstanding teachers, professors selected for the provincial “New Century 151 Talent Project”, Zhejiang Provincial “Zhijiang Young Scholars”, and distinguished Chinese director of Confucius Institutes. Faculty research areas cover second language acquisition, comparative studies of Chinese and foreign languages and cultures, cross-cultural communication, overseas Sinology, international dissemination of Chinese literature and culture, as well as studies in Chinese literature and education. The program emphasizes practical teaching and has established practice bases in collaboration with both domestic and international institutions, such as Donghua University (China), HaTu Chinese Online Academy, and Chonbathan School in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. These partnerships provide students with diverse platforms for hands-on experience.

The program stays closely aligned with the “media-focused” characteristics and the forefront of “digital intelligence”. In 2024, the School of International Education successfully hosted the national academic seminar on “Meta-verse and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages” along with the “First Forum for Graduates Majoring in TCSOL”, as well as the “First International Academic Conference on Malaysia and the Belt and Road Initiative”.
